MB Tech & Security (“we”, “us”) installs and supports security systems and IT for condominiums and businesses in Toronto and the GTA. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and how we use it. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
When you request a quote, book a free security audit, or contact us, we collect the information you choose to give us, which may include:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your role (for example, property manager, board member or business owner)
- Your building or company name and the building address
- The services you are interested in, the best time to reach you, and your message
Our website host may also record standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
- To respond to your request and call you back
- To arrange site visits and security audits, and to prepare written quotes and summaries
- To deliver, invoice and support work you ask us to do
- To keep basic business records required by law
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host, email provider and accounting tools, and only as needed to provide our services. We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client records for as long as needed for the work and for tax and legal requirements. We then delete or securely dispose of it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to being contacted, at any time. Withdrawing consent may mean we cannot complete a quote or job.
